शांत्यर्थं सर्वलोकानां ततः शांतिकमाचरेत्
For the peace of all worlds, thereafter one should perform the pacifying rite.
सहस्रकिरणो देवः सप्ताश्वरथवाहनः
The god with a thousand rays, whose chariot is drawn by seven horses.
करोतु ते महाशांतिं ग्रहपीडानिवारिणीम्
May he grant you great peace, removing afflictions caused by the planets.
दशाश्ववाहनो देव आत्रेय श्चामृतस्रवः सोमः सौम्येन भावेन ग्रहपीडां व्यपोहतु
The god whose chariot is drawn by ten horses, Ātreya, who pours forth nectar—Soma, with a gentle nature, may he dispel planetary afflictions.
पद्मरागनिभो भौमो मधुपिंगल लोचनः 1.175.
The Bhauma, resembling padmarāga, with honey-colored eyes.
पुष्परागनिभेनेह देहेन परिपिंगलः
Here, with a body resembling puṣparāga, he is tawny.
तप्तगैरिकसंकाशः सर्वशास्त्रविशारदः
Resembling heated ochre, skilled in all scriptures.
बृहस्पतिरिति ख्यात अर्थशास्त्रपरश्च यः
Known as Bṛhaspati, devoted to the science of wealth.
ग्रहपीडां विनिर्जित्य करोतु तव शांतिकम्
Having conquered planetary afflictions, may he grant you peace.
हिमकुंदेंदुवर्णाभो दैत्यदानवपूजितः
Resembling snow, jasmine, and moon in color, worshipped by demons and danavas.
सूर्यार्चनपरो नित्यं शुक्रः शुक्लनिभस्तदा
Always devoted to worship of the sun, Śukra, resembling white, at that time.
नानारूपधरोव्यक्त अविज्ञातगतिश्च यः
Assuming various forms, unmanifest, whose path is unknown.
एकचूलो द्विचूलश्च त्रिशिखः पंचचूलकः
One with a single tuft, two tufts, three locks, or five tufts of hair.
सूर्यपुत्रोग्निपुत्रस्तु ब्रह्मविष्णुशिवात्मकः
The son of the Sun, the son of Fire, embodying Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
एते ग्रहा महात्मानः सूर्यार्चनपराः सदा 1.175.
These great beings are always devoted to the worship of the Sun.
इति श्रीभविष्ये महापुराणे ब्राह्मे पर्वणि सप्तमीकल्पे सौरधर्मेषु सूर्याग्निकर्मणि पंचसप्तत्युत्तरशततमोऽध्यायः
Thus ends the one hundred seventy-fifth chapter on the rites to the Sun and Fire, in the section on Sauradharma, in the Saptamikalpa, of the Brahma Parvan of the glorious Bhavishya Mahapurana.
सौरधर्मवर्णनम् कमण्डलुधरः श्रीमान्देवगंधर्वपूजितः
He holds a water-pot, is radiant, and is worshipped by gods and gandharvas.
चतुर्मुखो देवपतिः सूर्यार्चनपरः सदा ब्रह्मशब्देन दिव्येन ब्रह्मा शांतिं करोतु ते
The four-faced lord of the gods is always devoted to the worship of the Sun; may Brahma, by his divine name, grant you peace.
पीतांबरधरो देव आत्रेयीदयितः सदा
The god who wears yellow garments is always dear to Atri's lineage.
यज्ञदेहः क्रमो देव आत्रेयीदयितः सदा
The god whose body is sacrifice, whose form is order, is always dear to Atri's lineage.
सूर्यभक्तान्वितो नित्यं विगतिर्विगतत्रयः
He is always accompanied by devotees of the Sun, free from movement and the threefold bonds.
शशिकुंदेंदुसंकाशो विश्रुताभरणैरिह
He shines like the moon and the jasmine flower, adorned here with renowned ornaments.
चतुर्मुखो भस्मधरः स्मशाननिलयः सदा
The four-faced one, bearing ashes, always dwells in the cremation ground.
वरो वरेण्यो वरदो देवदेवो महेश्वरः
The bestower of boons, the most excellent, the giver of blessings, the god of gods, the great lord.
इति श्रीभविष्ये महापुराणे ब्राह्मे पर्वणि सप्तमीकल्पे सौरधर्मेषु षट्सप्तत्युत्तरशततमोऽध्यायः
Thus ends the one hundred seventy-sixth chapter on Sauradharma, in the Saptamikalpa, of the Brahma Parvan of the glorious Bhavishya Mahapurana.
अग्निकार्यविधिवर्णनम् अक्षमालार्पितकरा कमंडलुधरा शुभा
She holds a rosary in her hand, bears a water-pot, and is auspicious.
ब्रह्माणी सौम्यवदना आदित्याराधने रता
Brahmani, with a gentle face, is devoted to the worship of Aditya.
महाश्वेतेति विख्याता आदि त्यदयिता सदा
She is always known as Mahashveta, ever dear to Aditya.
त्रिशूलहस्तावरणा विश्रुताभरणा सती वृषध्वजार्चनरता रुद्राणी शांतिदा भवेत्
Holding a trident and a shield, adorned with renowned ornaments, Sati, devoted to the worship of the bull-bannered one, Rudrani, grants peace.
मयूरवाहना देवी सिंदूरारुणविग्रहा
The goddess who rides a peacock, whose form is vermilion-red.
