Then Brahma and the other gods, having heard the words of Vibhavasu,
O Deva, we are all blessed and our purposes are fulfilled as well.
All of us have become wise by the very sight of you.
We are all your forms, enveloped by your radiance.
All the guardians of the worlds, O best of the gods, stand completely present.
Hearing their words in this way, Bhāskara, the thief of waters, [the Sun],
Āditya said: 'So it is, there is no doubt, since you speak thus, O virtuous ones.'
That which is this vision, O gods, and that which is the highest authority.
O tigers among the gods, listen now to the reason for this.
Indeed, it is for your awakening and for the destruction of darkness.
Therefore, knowing thus, never should there be ego.
Having first abandoned pride, arrogance, and ego from afar,
Then you shall behold my form, both with attributes and without.
Having spoken thus, O great king, the radiant lord of a thousand rays,
Then all of them—Brahma, Vishnu, and Pinaki—were astonished.
At that time, O king, they spoke to one another in amazement.
The great and radiant Brhadbhanu, the lamp of the worlds, the blazing one,
We all went to various places and worshipped him completely.
Having worshipped that lord of the sky with supreme devotion,
Brahma went to Pushkara, Janardana to Shalagrama.
Abandoning pride and ego, they performed the highest austerity.
Brahma, having made a quadrangle in the sky, worshipped constantly.
And Hara, ever valiant, blazing like fire, also did so.
At the end of a thousand divine years, they worshipped the Sun.
Performing the highest austerity, they pleased the great soul.
Then, O great king, the lord of the worlds became pleased with them.
The soul of Krishna, of great radiance, through yoga became fourfold, O sinless one.
With one form I consider Shankara, with another Garuda-bannered (Vishnu).
Thus, by the power of yoga, Bhanu performed a great and wondrous deed.
He worshipped the vast sky with lotus-like faces from those dwelling on earth.
