संपीड्य ताडयामास लोहदंडैर्भयानकैः
He pressed and struck them with terrifying iron rods.
आश्विनेयौ समालोक्य वचनं प्राह तौ मुदा एकनाम्ना युवां प्रीतौ नासत्यौ च भविष्यथः
Seeing the Ashvins, he spoke to them joyfully: 'You two, with one name and united in affection, will become the Nasatyas.'
सोमशक्तिरिडादेवी ज्येष्ठपत्नी भविष्यति
Soma's power, Ida Devi, will become the eldest wife.
इडापतिस्स वै नाम द्वितीयः पिंगलापतिः तस्य शान्तिकरो ज्येष्ठो भविष्यति महीतले
The lord of Ida will be named thus, and the second will be the lord of Pingala; his eldest son will be a bringer of peace upon the earth.
द्वितीयश्च नृणां राशेः सावर्णिर्भ्रमकारकः

पुरीं काशीं समागम्य कबीरं रामतत्परम्

All the Kauravas, arrogant in battle, were defeated by the Pandavas.
दिनान्ते भग वान्कृष्णो ज्ञात्वा कालस्य दुर्गतिम्
At the end of the day, the blessed Krishna, knowing the misfortune of time,
कालकर्त्रे जगद्भर्त्रे पापहर्त्रे नमोनमः
Salutations again and again to the maker of time, the sustainer of the world, the remover of sin.
पांडवान्रक्ष भगवन्मद्भक्तान्भूतभीरुकान् रक्षार्थं शिबिराणां च प्राप्तवाञ्छूलहस्तधृक्
O Lord, protect the Pandavas, my devotees, who are fearful of beings; for their protection and for the camps, you arrived holding the trident in your hand.
तदा नृपाज्ञया कृष्णः स गतो गजसाह्वयम्

Knowing that a terrible act had been committed, Bhima and the others, overcome by anger,
अस्त्रशस्त्राणि तेषां तु शिवदेहे समाविशन्
Their weapons and missiles entered into Shiva's body.
