अन्ये च क्षुद्रभूपाश्च सहस्राढ्याः पृथक्पृथक्
And other minor kings, each possessing thousands, separately.
मूलवर्मा च नृपतिः सपुत्रो लक्षसैन्यपः
Mūlavarmā, the king, with his son, accompanied by an army of a hundred thousand.
कैकयो लक्षसेनाढ्यः सपुत्रो नृपतिः स्वयम्
Kaikaya, possessing an army of a hundred thousand, the king himself with his son.
नेत्रसिंहश्च नृपतिः स वीरो लक्षसैन्यपः

मुकुन्दश्च सुकेतुश्च रुहिलो गुहिलस्तथा सर्वे दशसहस्राढ्या महीराजमुपस्थिताः ।। 3.3.32.

महीराजस्य पक्षे तु सहस्रं क्षुद्रभूमिपाः

तदा परिमलो राजा मयूरध्वजमेव हि
Then King Parimala faced Mayuradhvaja.
कृष्णांशेन जयंतेन देवसिंहेन रक्षितः
Protected by Jayanta, who possessed a portion of Krishna, and by Devasimha.
इति श्रुत्वा तु वचनं मयूरध्वज एव हि
Having heard these words, Mayuradhvaja himself responded.
तयोश्चासीन्महद्युद्धं सेनयोरुभयो रणे
A great battle took place between the armies of both sides on the field.
