Arriving at the house of Kamapala, she took up residence there.
When Padmini had gone from that house, an auspicious writing was found.
Thus understanding, the portion of Krishna, with an army of one hundred and twenty thousand,
The powerful Kamapala, accompanied by an army of three hundred thousand,

Then, between the two armies, there was a great battle.
Having taken refuge with Padmini, at that time the brother and father stood; for their sake, she gave a letter of disappearance.

The king of the earth, seated in the assembly, was approached by one equal to the moon.
Seeing him who had arrived, the king, absorbed in sorrow,
By the mighty heroes, beginning with Krishna's portion, fear had come to my village.
Thus addressed, the pure-hearted one, meditating on the all-pervading Shiva,
From a portion of Jishnu was born Brahmananda, of great might.

And when Malana's son will depart, having abandoned the body,

Thus, as he was speaking in this way, the steadfast minister was addressed by the king.
Having deceitfully slain Brahmananda, the great hero and foremost of kings, while he was alone, he will consider his purpose accomplished.

Then, having approached Malana, he himself informed her.
