That unconquered Krishna's portion went by the path of the sky to the palace.
Then that heroic Lakshana, having abandoned his excellent bonds,
Taking the sacred texts and the palanquin, he himself reached the camp.
Meanwhile, all of them, having abandoned their unconsciousness, everywhere,
Along with their followers, the hundred kings were slain, their blood flowing.
At the end of the wedding, all of them arrived at the camps.
When the noble warriors had eaten, together with their thousands of sons,
Having slain those thousand heroes and again bound the mighty ones,
The powerful king took one hundred thousand pieces of gold.
O king, son of Pradyota, that Lakshana was exceedingly mighty.
Hearing this, Parimala, accompanied by all the kings,
Then the great and virtuous Velā lamented again and again; comforting her, he then went by the path of the sky.
Having threatened Lakṣaṇa, he joyfully took the token of arrival.
Then, abandoning the seven sons together with the king, they stayed for ten nights and at the end became intent on departing, O sage.
But the mighty king seized the feet of the lord of the earth.
O great king, your bride is now twelve years of age.
Therefore, you should leave her and go home; be happy.
Having spoken thus, the king, out of affection, touched him on the lap; he touched the king of the earth, and that king was reduced to dust.
Both the kings, with broken bones, were treated by the physicians of Pāvaka.

Malanā, seeing her own son, who had returned home after marriage, performed a homa to Caṇḍikā by her grace.
In the assembly, the hero Lakṣaṇa spoke to him at the time of departure: 'By Śiva’s command, the two yogins arrived by the path of the sky.'
Those two, having defeated me and bewildered by intense fear, departed after bowing to him who had spoken thus, and the kings returned to their own abode.
Once, on the shore of the lake called Sāgara, Indula, the mighty, was present.
Meanwhile, swans descended from the sky to the earth.
They spoke these words: 'Blessed is he, of divine form.'
Sāgara is the greatest among cities and among lakes as well.
O Indula, most wise, we are staying at the lake of the mind.
There, seeing an auspicious woman adorned with all ornaments—
Having seen her, we became bewildered and went to another land; for there is no one here equal to you, nor any suitor worthy of the lotus-like maiden.
Therefore, you should ascend with us to see that goddess.
