स्वारोचिषमनोरन्ते नृसिंहोऽभूत्स वै भुवि
At the end of Svārociṣa Manu's reign, the Nṛsiṃha incarnation appeared on earth.
तदौत्तममनोर्मध्ये रुद्रोऽभूत्सगणो भुवि
Then, in the midst of the Uttama Manu, Rudra appeared on earth, accompanied by his attendants.
तामसान्तेऽभवन्मत्स्यः स वै भुवि सनातनः
At the end of the Tamasa period, Matsya manifested; he is eternal upon the earth.
वैवस्वतमनोर्मध्ये कृष्णोभूद्भुवि स प्रभुः
In the midst of Vaivasvata Manu, Krishna appeared on earth; he is the Lord.

वैवस्वतमनोरादौ वामनोऽभूत्स वै भुवि
At the beginning of Vaivasvata Manu, Vamana appeared on earth.
