प्रकृते योजयेन्मन्त्री स्तुतौ चापि नियोजयेत् छंदश्च बृहती ख्यातं तदेवाग्निः प्रकीर्तितः
The priest should apply it to the rite, and also use it in praise; the meter is known as Brihati, and it is called Agni.

एकस्मिन्दिवसे कुर्यात्तत्रापि नैत्तिकं त्यजेत्
On a single day, one may perform, but even there, the occasional rite should be omitted.
अजस्यानियमे चेन्द्रोऽधिश्रयणं विवस्वतः
