श्रीफलं बीजपूरं च नालिकेरं च दाडिमम्
He should offer coconut, citron, areca nut, and pomegranate.
पञ्चरक्तं सुवर्णं च निक्षिपेद्वरुणं यजेत्
He should place five red items and gold, and worship Varuna.
उद्वर्तन इति मन्त्रेण वरुणं च पुनर्यजेत्
With the mantra 'Udvartana,' he should again worship Varuna.
अस्य मंत्रस्य च ऋषिर्विष्णुश्छन्द उदाहृतम्

He should offer a hundred and fifty oblations, or twice that, with sesame seeds and rice.
पयोदध्यादिभिर्वापि मध्वाज्यैर्वा विशिष्यते
Or with milk, curd, and the like, or with honey and ghee, as is best.
अष्टाविंशतिभिश्चान्यैरष्टाष्टौ पंचपंच वा
With twenty-eight others, or thirty-two, or twenty-five, as appropriate.
चरक्यादींश्चासनैश्च पिष्टकैर्वटकेन वा
And with caraka and other offerings, with seats, with cakes or with balls of flour.
वास्तोष्पते दृढं जप्त्वा यजेद्वास्तुपतिं यदा
Having firmly recited the Vāstoṣpati mantra, he should worship the lord of the dwelling.
बलिमासादयेत्पश्चाद्दद्यादेकैकशः क्रमात्
After obtaining the offering, he should then give them one by one in order.
शाल्यन्नं शिखिने दद्यात्तथा नीलोत्पलानि च 2.2.11.
Cooked rice should be offered to Śikhī, as well as blue lotuses.
जयाय पिष्टकं कार्यमिन्द्राय घृतमोदकः
For Jaya, one should prepare a cake; for Indra, a sweet made of ghee.
भ्रमाय मत्स्यमांसान्नं शष्कुलीमथ पिष्टकम्
For Bhrama, fish, meat, and rice, as well as śaṣkulī and cakes, are to be given.
वितथाय कलायान्नं गृहर्क्षाय समाक्षिकम्
For Vitatha, rice made from kalāya beans; for Gṛharkṣa, honey and sesame.
गन्धर्वाय कस्तूरिकान्नं कृशरं भृंगराजके
For Gandharva, food flavored with musk, and kṛśara with bhṛṅgarāja herb.
दौवारिकाय कृशराननडुंहे च पूपकम्
For Dauvārika, kṛśara and sugarcane, and also pūpaka cakes.
असुराय मोदकांश्चैव दद्यादापिक्षये सुराम्
For Asura, one should give sweet cakes, and at the waning of the moon, liquor.
रोगाय घृतलड्डूकं सपायसगुडौदनम्
For Roga, ghee-laden sweet balls, along with milk-rice and jaggery rice.
सोमाय मधुशाल्यन्नं नागाय गुडपिष्टकम्
For Soma, honeyed rice; for Nāga, cakes made with jaggery.
दित्यै दद्यात्तथा क्षीरं सितशर्करया सह
For Diti, one should likewise offer milk together with white sugar.
सावित्र्यै लड्डुकान्नं च सवित्रे च गुडौदनम् 2.2.11.
For Sāvitrī, sweet balls; and for Savitṛ, rice with jaggery.
विरूपाय च तद्दद्याद्धरिद्रान्नं तथैव च
For Virūpa, one should give turmeric-flavored rice in the same way.
मांसौदनं यक्ष्मणे च कृशरं वरुणाय च
Meat-rice is for Yakṣman; kṛśara is for Varuṇa.
चित्रौदनं समांसं च मत्स्यान्नं गुडपिष्टकम् तीर्थतोयसमायुक्तं सुगन्धेन समन्वितम्
For Citrā, rice mixed with meat, fish, and jaggery cakes, combined with water from a sacred place and endowed with fragrance.
पताका देववर्णेन दद्याद्ब्रह्मादिषु क्रमात्
A banner of divine color should be offered in order to the gods beginning with Brahmā.
