पश्चदीशेति मन्त्रेण गन्धाद्यैः परिपूजयेत्
Afterwards, with the mantra 'īśa', one should worship with fragrant substances and the like.

The seer is Vāmadeva; one should worship with fragrant substances and the like. The deity is Śukra, so named, and should be employed in praise. One should worship those situated in the northeast direction with full concentration. One should meditate upon water, white in color, adorned with earrings and other ornaments. With the mantra 'this is Viṣṇu', one should worship with three kinds of fragrance. The seer is Kardama, and the meter is Virāṭ, as is stated. The deity is Soma, so named, and should be employed for delight.
पयसा शुक्ल इति मन्त्रेण पूजयेत्कमलादिना
With the mantra 'śukla', one should worship with milk and lotuses and the like.
नारायण ऋषिश्चास्य पंक्तिश्छन्दः प्रकीर्त्यते
The seer is Nārāyaṇa, and the meter is Paṅkti, as is declared.
जयं ध्यायेत्पीतवर्णं द्विभुजं वरहस्तकम्
One should meditate upon Jaya, yellow in color, two-armed, holding a boon in his hand.
दृष्ट्वा परिश्रुत इति मन्त्रेणानेन पूजयेत्
Having seen, with the mantra 'pariśruta', one should worship with this.
रुद्रं ध्यायेद्रक्तवर्णं शीतांशुकृतशेखरम्
One should meditate upon Rudra, red in color, crowned with the cool rays of the moon.
दिवो मूर्धन्निति मन्त्रेण ऋषयः समुदाहृताः
With the mantra 'divo mūrdhan', the sages are invoked.
स्वयं देवो विनियोगः स्तुतौ च विनियोजयेत्
The deity himself is the application, and should be employed in praise.
अस्य किरीट इति मन्त्रेण रक्तस्रक्चन्दनादिभिः त्रिष्टु्प्छन्दो देवता स्याद्ध्रदोपि परिकीर्तितः
With the mantra 'kirīṭa', one should worship with red garlands, sandalwood, and the like. The meter is Triṣṭubh, the deity is stated as Hrada.
सवितारं तथा ध्यायेत्पद्मस्थं द्विभुजप्रभुम् 2.2.11.
Likewise, one should meditate upon Savitā, seated on a lotus, two-armed, radiant.

विबुधाधिपं ततो ध्यायेत्पीतं वृषभवाहनम् त्रिनेत्रं रक्तवस्त्रं च मुकुटाद्यैरलंकृतम्
Then one should meditate upon the lord of the gods, yellow in hue, riding a bull, three-eyed, clad in red garments, adorned with a crown and other ornaments.
ऋषिर्हारीत इत्युक्तो जगतीच्छन्द ईरितम्
The seer is said to be Hārīta; the metre is Jagatī, as declared.
मित्रं ध्यायेच्छुक्लवर्णं वराभयकरं परम्
One should meditate upon Mitra, of white complexion, bestowing boons and fearlessness, supreme.
ऋषिरौतथ्य इत्युक्तो जगती छन्द ईरितम्
The seer is said to be Autathya; the metre is Jagatī, as declared.
पीतास्यं राजयक्ष्याणं करालं च विचिंतयेत्
One should contemplate the yellow-faced, royal Yakṣas, fierce in form.
दध्यङ्ङाथर्वण ऋषिर्गायत्री छन्द ईरितम् 2.2.11.१ १
The seer is Dadhyaṅ Ātharvaṇa; the metre is Gāyatrī, as declared.
शुक्लांबरधरं ध्यायेद्द्विभुजं शिखिवाहनम्
One should meditate upon the two-armed one, clad in white garments, riding a peacock.

एवं ध्यात्वा विवस्वंतं महाकायं महोदरम्
Thus meditating upon Vivasvant, of great body and great belly.
काश्यपोस्य ऋषिश्छन्दस्त्रिष्टुब्देवः शचीपतिः
The seer is Kāśyapa; the metre is Triṣṭubh; the deity is the lord of Śacī.
बहिरीशानकोणेषु देवादीन्परिपूजयेत्
One should worship the gods and others in the outer north-eastern corners.
