In a radiant aerial car, thronged by hosts of Apsaras—
When his merit is exhausted, he comes here and becomes a righteous king.

The donation-mantras have thus been spoken; the fruit thereof is now declared.
Those who give a splendid chariot, with strong axles and wheels, yoked with mighty elephants or with horses—
Thus, in the glorious Bhavishya Mahapurana, in the Uttaraparvan, in the dialogue of Sri Krishna and Yudhishthira, the eighty-first chapter, named 'Description of the Rite of Giving Elephant and Horse Chariots,' is concluded.
Description of the rite of giving to the Personified Time—
Yudhishthira said: O Krishna, best of the Yadus, tell me of other gifts.
You are the cause for crossing the ocean of worldly existence, O Madhava.
Again I shall speak, if you have any curiosity.
What I have told you, and what I shall tell, I will recount.
The procedure for desired gifts, O Partha, when performed with effort—
Should be known as the best among all procedures of giving.
Thus, for the lordly chariots of trees, for cows, and for black antelope skins—
First, I shall explain to you the being known as Time.
The offering is to be made with the prescribed mantra, along with an image representing oneself.
O King, among all gifts, the eighth—black antelope skin—is the most excellent.
This, O best of kings, is the tenfold gift that I know.
Apart from giving, there is no other way for the wealthy to do good.
Even when a well is drawn from, it still remains full of water.
On the fourth, fourteenth, or new moon day, O son of Pandu,
With sword raised in hand, fierce, adorned with hibiscus flower earrings,
With sharp sword, bow, and arrows, his waist girded tightly,
And holding a lump of flesh in the left palm,
He should be worshipped with fragrant flowers, and food offerings should be presented.
According to the procedure prescribed in one's own house, one should perform one hundred and eight offerings.
O virtuous one, you are unattainable even to Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and others.
You have been worshipped by me with devotion and likewise entreated for happiness.
Having thus worshipped him, one should present (the offering) to a Brahmin.
One should give a gift according to one's ability, bow down, and then dismiss (the Brahmin).
