ततोऽवतीर्य गुरवे सर्वमर्द्धं निवेदयेत्
Then, descending, he should offer all the gold to the teacher.

If one takes another's property for a night, he does not attain the highest prosperity; in this same manner, some do so with silver as well.
कर्पूरेण तथेच्छंति केचिद्ब्राह्मणपुंगवाः
Some eminent Brahmins desire it with camphor.
कुंकुमेन प्रयच्छंति लवणेन गुडेन च
They offer it with saffron, with salt, and with jaggery.
विधिनानेन यो दद्या द्दानमेतत्समाहितः
Whoever gives this gift with proper intent according to this method,
विमानवरमास्थाय नारी वा पुरुषोऽपि वा
Whether woman or man, mounting a splendid celestial vehicle,
नानावृक्षाकुलं रम्यं नानागंधाधिवासितम्
In a delightful place filled with various trees, pervaded by diverse fragrances,
शयनासनसंकीर्णं पताका भिरलंकृतम्
Adorned with many beds and seats, decorated with banners,
सर्वर्तुसुखदं रम्यं सर्वदुःखविवर्जितम्
Pleasant in all seasons, bestowing happiness, free from all suffering,
मित्वा तत्र राजेंद्र कल्पमेकं निरामयः
He dwells there, O king, for one kalpa, free from disease.
विश्वेषां चैव देवानां देव राज पुरे तथा
And likewise in the city of the king of the gods, among all the gods,
धनदस्य पुरे स्थित्वा कल्पकोटिशतं नरः
Having resided in the city of Kubera for hundreds of millions of kalpas, the man,
यज्वा दानपतिर्धीमाञ्छत्रुपक्षक्षयंकरः
A sacrificer, generous giver, wise, destroyer of enemies and their factions,
सोऽपि मुच्येत पापेन त्रिविधेन न संशयः
He too is freed from threefold sin, without doubt.
ब्रह्मेशकेशवपरोऽस्ति न पूजनीयो नैवाश्वमेधसदृशः क्रतुरस्ति कश्चित्
There is no one superior to Brahma, Shiva, or Kesava; nor is any worship worthy, nor any sacrifice equal to the Ashvamedha.
