वत्सराजस्य पुत्रत्वं गमिष्यति युधिष्ठिरः
Yudhishthira will become the son of King Vatsaraja.
भीमो दुर्वचनाद्दुष्टो म्लेच्छयोनौ भविष्यति
Bhima, corrupted by harsh words, will be born among the mlecchas.
अर्जुनांशश्च मद्भक्तो जनिष्यति महामतिः
A portion of Arjuna, devoted to me and of great intelligence, will be born.
कान्यकुब्जे हि नकुलो भविष्यति महाबलः
Nakula, mighty in strength, will be born in Kanyakubja.
सहदेवस्तु वलवाञ्जनिष्यति महामतिः
Sahadeva, powerful and of great intellect, will also be born.
धृतराष्ट्रांश एवासौ जनिष्यत्यजमेरके
A portion of Dhritarashtra will be born in the land of Ajameru.
वेला नाम्ना च विख्याता तारकः कर्ण एव हि
Famed by the name Velā, Tāraka will indeed be Karṇa.
कौरवाश्च भविष्यन्ति मायायुद्धविशारदाः 3.3.1.
The Kauravas will be skilled in the art of magical warfare.
मया शक्त्यवतारेण रक्षणीया हि पांडवाः
The Pandavas must be protected by my descent as Shakti.
महावती पुरी रम्या मायादेवीविनिर्मिता
A great and beautiful city, created by the goddess Maya, exists.
देवकीजठरे जन्मोदयसिंह इति स्मृतः
Born in Devaki’s womb, you are remembered as Simha.
हत्वाग्निवंशजान्भूपान्स्थापयिष्यामि वै कलिम्

प्रेतकार्याणि ते कृत्वा भीष्मान्तिकमुपाययुः

गृहीत्वा योषितस्तेषां परं हर्षमुपाययुः
Taking the women of those people, they attained great delight.
विक्रमादित्यपौत्रश्च पितृराज्यं गृहीतवान्
And the grandson of Vikramaditya took up his father's kingdom.
