In former times, you performed this vow known as Kāñcanapurī.
Thus, in the glorious Bhaviṣya Mahāpurāṇa, in the Uttaraparvan, in the dialogue of Śrī Lakṣmī and Viṣṇu, is the chapter named 'Description of the Kāñcanapurī Vow,' being the one hundred and forty-seventh chapter.

There is nothing higher than the Brāhmaṇas, nor has there been, in all the three worlds.
They may make what is not divine into a deity, and make a deity into what is not divine.

By fanning with a palm leaf and by massaging the weary limbs,
By offering water for washing the feet and by sprinkling the feet,
Even without performing sacrifice, one attains the eternal heavenly realm.
