Having adorned it with fragrant flowers, incense, lamps, and shining grains, one should worship, together with his wife, with this mantra, filled with devotion:
O King Soma, I bow to you; to Rohiṇī, I bow again and again.
Thus having worshiped, before them, the consecrated offering should be given, saying: 'May the goddess Rohiṇī, together with her beloved, be pleased with me.'
Having spoken thus and given the offering, then one should enter the water.
Then, with the mind, one should meditate upon Soma together with Rohiṇī.
Having restrained oneself, and after others have eaten, food should be given to a Brahmin, with devotion, according to one's ability, as the mind and means allow.
