ഏവം യതന്തം വിജനേ മാമാഹാഗോചരോ ഗിരാമ് । ഗംഭീരശ്ലക്ഷ്ണയാ വാചാ ശുചഃ പ്രശമയന്നിവ
Thus striving, I spoke words beyond hearing: with deep, soft speech as if pacifying the pure‑hearted I uttered it aloud.
ഹന്താസ്മിന് ജന്മനി ഭവാന് മാ മാം ദ്രഷ്ടുമിഹാര്ഹതി । അവിപക്വകഷായാണാം ദുര്ദര്ശോഽഹം കുയോഗിനാമ്
Alas, in this birth you are not fit to behold me; among those of immature temperament I am hard to see, O ascetic.
സകൃദ് യദ് ദര്ശിതം രൂപം ഏതത്കാമായ തേഽനഘ । മത്കാമഃ ശനകൈഃ സാധു സര്വാന് മുഞ്ചതി ഹൃച്ഛയാന്
Once the form was shown for your sake, faultless one; gradually, as you rightly long for it, the desire for me frees all attachments in the heart.
സത്സേവയാഽദീര്ഘയാ തേ ജാതാ മയി ദൃഢാ മതിഃ । ഹിത്വാവദ്യമിമം ലോകം ഗന്താ മജ്ജനതാമസി
By long, faithful service your mind toward me has become firm; having abandoned the impermanent world, go — you are sinking into darkness.
മതിര്മയി നിബദ്ധേയം ന വിപദ്യേത കര്ഹിചിത് । പ്രജാസര്ഗനിരോധേഽപി സ്മൃതിശ്ച മദനുഗ്രഹാത്
Bind your mind to me so it never falls into peril; even to prevent the creation of beings, remember me by my grace.
