माया लीला लाली यामा याज्ञे ज्ञेया नौसा । यत्र ज्ञेया वरिः शीघ्रा दिक्षुरं कलसं वहिः ।। ३१४.
'māyā līlā lālī yāmā yājñe jñeyā nausā'; where it is to be known, quickly bring the vessel of water in the proper direction.
पद्मस्थं पद्मचक्रञ्च भृत्युजित् स्वर्गगन्धृति । शान्तीनां परमा शान्तिः सौभाग्यादिप्रदायकम् ।। ३१४.
The lotus-seated, the lotus wheel, the servant-conqueror, the fragrance of heaven; the supreme peace among peaces, bestowing good fortune and more.
रुद्रेरुद्रसमाः कार्य्याः कोष्ठकास्तत्र ता लिखेत् । ओमाद्याह्रूँ फडन्ता च आदिवर्णमयानुतः ।। ३१४.
The compartments should be made equal to the number of Rudras; there, write from 'om' to 'hrūm phaṭ', using the initial letters in order.
विद्यावर्णक्रमेनैव संज्ञाञ्च वषडन्तिकां । अधस्थात् प्रत्यङ्गिरैषा सर्व्वकामार्थसाधिका ।। ३१४.
According to the sequence of the vidyā syllables, and with the term ending in 'vaṣaṭ', below is the Pratyaṅgirā; this accomplishes all desired aims.
एकाशीतिपदे सर्व्वामादिवर्णक्रमेण तु । आदिमं यावदन्तं स्याद्वषडन्तञ्च नाम वै ।। ३१४.
This consists of eighty-one syllables, arranged in the order of the initial letters; from the beginning to the end, and ending with 'vaṣaṭ', is its name.
एषा प्रत्यङ्गिरा चान्या सर्व्वकार्य्यादिसाधनी । निग्रहानुग्रहञ्चकञ्चतुः पष्टिपदैर्लिखेत् ।। ३१४.
This Pratyaṅgirā and another accomplish all tasks; for restraint and favor, write with four clear lines.
अमृती सा च विद्या च क्रीं सःक हूँ नामाथ मध्यतः । फट्काराद्यां पत्रगतां त्रिहीँकारेण वेष्टयेत् ।। ३१४.
That immortal vidyā, with 'krīṃ saḥka hūṃ' in the middle; beginning with 'phaṭ', placed on a leaf, is to be wrapped with three 'hīṃ' utterances.
कुम्भवद्धारिता सर्व्वशत्रुहृत् सर्व्वदायिता । विषन्नश्येत् कर्णजपादक्षराद्यैश्च दण्डकैः ।। ३१४.
Held like a pot, it removes all enemies and grants all; if afflicted, one should recite in the ear, using the initial syllables and rods.
अग्निरुवाच स्तम्भनं मोहनं वश्यं विद्वेषोच्चाटनं वदे । विचषव्याधिमरोगञ्च मारणं शमनं पुनः ।। ३१५.
Agni said: I will speak of immobilization, enchantment, subjugation, enmity, expulsion, madness, disease, killing, and pacification.
भूर्ज्जे कूर्म्मं समालिख्य नाड़नेन षडङ्गुलम् । मुखपादचतुष्केषु ततो मन्त्रं न्यसेद्द्विजः ।। ३१५.
On birch bark, draw a tortoise, six fingers in size; at its four face and feet, then the twice-born should place the mantra.
चतुष्पादेषु क्रीँकारं ह्रीँकारं मुखमध्यतः । गर्भे विद्यां ततो लिख्य साधकं पृष्ठतो लिखेत् ।। ३१५.
On the quadrupedal figures, inscribe the syllables 'krī' and 'hrī' at the center of the mouth; then write the knowledge within the womb, and the practitioner behind.
मालामन्त्रैस्तु संवेट्य इष्टकोपरि सन्न्यसेत् । पिधाय कूर्म्मपृष्ठेन करालेनाभिसम्पठेत् ।। ३१५.
Wrap it with garland-mantras and place it upon the brick; cover it with the back of a tortoise and seal it with clay.
महाकूर्म्मं पूजयित्वा पादप्रोक्षन्तु निक्षइपेत् । ताडयेद्वामपादेन स्मृत्वा शत्रुञ्च सप्तधा ।। ३१५.
After worshipping the great tortoise, sprinkle the feet and deposit them; strike with the left foot, remembering the enemy seven times.
ततः सञ्जायते शत्रोस्तम्भनं मुखरागतः । कृत्वा तु भैरवं रूपं मालामन्त्रं समालिखेत् ।। ३१५.
Then the binding of the enemy's speech arises from the mouth; having fashioned the form of Bhairava, inscribe the garland-mantra.
ओं शत्रुमुखस्तम्भनी कामरूपा आलीढक्करी ।। ह्रीं फें फेत्कारिणी मम शत्रूणां देवदत्तानां मुखं स्तम्भय मम सर्व्वविद्वेषिणां मुखस्तम्भनं कुरु ओं हूँ फेँ फेत्कारिणि स्वाहा । फट् हेतुञ्च समालिख्य तज्जपान्तं महाबलं । वामेनैव नगं शूलं संलिखेद्दक्षिणे करे ।। ३१५.
Om, speech-binding of the enemy, of desired form, grasping hand; hrīṃ pheṃ phetkāriṇī, bind the mouths of my enemies named Devadatta; perform speech-binding of all who hate me. Om hūṃ pheṃ phetkāriṇī svāhā. Inscribe 'phaṭ' as the cause, and at the end of its recitation, great power arises. With the left hand, draw the mountain and trident; with the right hand.
लिखेन्मन्त्रमघोरस्य संग्रामे स्तम्भयेदरीन् । ओं नमो भगवत्यै भगमालिनि निस्फुर स्पन्द नित्यक्लिन्ने द्रव हूँ सः क्रीँ काराक्षरे स्वाहा ३१५.
Inscribe the mantra of Aghora; in battle, it binds enemies. Om, homage to Bhagavatī Bhagamālinī: unmoving, quivering, ever moist, flow, hūṃ saḥ krī, syllable of action, svāhā.
ओं फेँ हूँ फट् फेत्कारिणि ह्रीँ ज्वल त्रैलोक्यं मोहय गुह्यकालिके स्वाहा । अनेन तिलकं कृत्वा राजादीनां वशीकरं । गर्द्धभस्य रजो गृह्य कुसुमं सूतकस्य च ।। ३१५.
Om pheṃ hūṃ phaṭ phetkāriṇī hrīṃ blaze, delude the three worlds, O secret Kālikā, svāhā. With this, make a mark for subjugating kings and others. Take the dust of a donkey and a flower from a woman in impurity.
नीरीरजः क्षिपेद्रात्रौ शय्यादौ द्वेषकृद्भवेत् । गोखुरञ्च तथा श्रृङ्गमश्वस्य च खुरं तथा ।। ३१५.
Scatter the dust of a corpse at night on the bed; it causes enmity. Also use the hoof and horn of a cow, and the hoof of a horse.
शिरः सर्पस्य संक्षिप्तं गृहेपूच्चाटनं भवेत् । करवीरशिफा पीता ससिद्दार्था च मारणे ।। ३१५.
The head of a snake, placed in a house, causes expulsion; the yellow fruit of oleander, with accomplished purpose, is used for killing.
व्यालछुच्छुन्दरीरक्तं करवीरं तदर्थकृत् । सरटं षट्पदञ्चापि तथा कर्क्कटवृश्चिकम् ।। ३१५.
The blood of a mongoose and a shrew, and oleander prepared for that purpose; also the centipede, bee, crab, and scorpion.
चुर्णीकृत्य क्षिपेत्तैले तदभ्यङ्गश्च कुष्ठकृत् । ओं नवग्रहाय सर्त्र्वशत्रून् मम साधय मारय आं सों मं वुं चुं ओं शं वां कें ओं स्वाहा । अनेनार्क्कशतैरर्च्य श्मशाने तु निधापयेत् ।। ३१५.
Powder them and mix with oil; its application causes leprosy. Om, to the nine planets, accomplish and destroy all my enemies: āṃ soṃ maṃ vuṃ cuṃ oṃ śaṃ vāṃ keṃ oṃ svāhā. Worship with a hundred sunflowers and deposit in a cremation ground.
भूर्ज्जे वा प्रतिमायां वा मारणाय रिपोर्ग्रहाः । ओं कुञ्जरी ब्रह्माणी । ओं मञ्जरी माहेश्वरी ।। ओं वेताली कौमारी ओं काली वैष्णवी । ओं अघोरा वारही । ओं वेताली इन्द्राणी उर्व्वशी । ओं जयानी यक्षिणी । नवमातरो हे मम शत्रु गृह्णत । भूर्ज्जे नाम रिपोर्लिख्य श्मशाने पूजिते म्रियेत् ।। ३१५.
On birch bark or an image, for killing the enemy, inscribe the planets: Om Kuñjarī Brahmāṇī; Om Mañjarī Māheśvarī; Om Vetālī Kaumārī; Om Kālī Vaiṣṇavī; Om Aghorā Vārahī; Om Vetālī Indrāṇī Urvaśī; Om Jayānī Yakṣiṇī. Nine mothers, seize my enemy. Write the enemy's name on birch bark, worship in the cremation ground, and he will die.
अग्निरुवाच आदौ हूँकारसंयुक्ताः खेचछे पदभूषिता । वर्गातीतविसर्गेण स्त्रीँ हूँक्षेपफड़न्तिक्रा ।। ३१६.
Agni said: At first, joined with the syllable hūṃ, moving in the sky, adorned with words; with transcending class and release, the feminine hūṃ is cast, causing the effect.
सर्व्वकर्म्मकरी विद्या विषसन्धादिमर्द्दनी । ओं क्षेचछेतिप्रयोगश्च कालदष्टस्य जीवने ।। ३१६.
The knowledge accomplishes all actions, destroys poison and its effects; the application of 'kṣecaceti' revives one bitten by time.
ओं हूँ केक्षः प्रयोगोयं विषशत्रुप्रमर्द्दनः । स्त्रीं हूँ फडितियोगोयं पापरोगादिकं जयेत् ।। ३१६.
Om hūṃ kekṣaḥ, this application destroys poison and enemies; the feminine hūṃ, with phaṭ, conquers evil diseases and the like.
खेछेति च प्रयोगोऽय विघ्नदुष्टादि वारयेत् । ह्रुँ स्त्रीँ ओमितियोगोऽयं योषिदाविवशीकरः ।। ३१६.
The application of 'khecheti' wards off obstacles and malice; 'hruṃ strīṃ om', this application subjugates women.
खे स्त्रीँ खे च प्रयोगोऽयं वशाय विजयाय च । एँ ह्रीँ श्रीँ स्फँ कैँ क्षौँ भगवति अम्बिके कुब्जिके स्फँ ओं भं तं वशनमो अवोराय मुखे व्राँ व्रीँ किलि किलि विच्चा स्फीँ हे स्फँ श्रईँ ह्रीँ ऐण श्रीमिति कुब्जिकाविद्या सर्व्वकरा स्मृता ३१६.
The application of 'khe strīṃ khe' is for subjugation and victory. Eṃ hrīṃ śrīṃ sphaṃ kaiṃ kṣauṃ, O Bhagavatī, Ambikā, Kubjikā, sphaṃ om bhaṃ taṃ, for subjugation, at the mouth, vrāṃ vrīṃ kili kili viccā sphīṃ he sphaṃ śraīṃ hrīṃ aiṇa śrī, thus Kubjikā knowledge is known as accomplishing all actions.
ईश्वर उवाच सकलं निष्कलं शून्यं कलाढयं स्वमलङ्कृतम् । क्षपणं क्षयमन्तस्थं कण्ठोष्ठं चाष्टमं शिवम् ।। ३१७.
Īśvara said: All, the unmanifest, the void, endowed with arts, adorned by itself; destruction, the end of decay, the throat and lips, and the eighth, Śiva.
प्रासादस्य१ पराख्यस्य स्मृतं रुपं गुहाष्टधा । सदाशिवश्य शब्दस्य रूपस्याखिलसिद्धये ।। ३१७.
The form of the palace called Parākhya is remembered as eightfold, for the complete attainment of the form of Sadāśiva and the sound associated with him.
अमृतश्चांशुमांश्चेन्दुश्चेश्वरश्चोग्र ऊहकः । एकपादेन ओजाख्य औषधश्चांशुमान् वशी ।। ३१७.
Amṛta, Aṃśumān, Candra, Īśvara, Ugra, Ūhaka, Ekapāda called Oja, Auṣadha, Aṃśumān, and Vaśī—
