रंवीजंहृद्याब्जस्थं स्मृत्वा ज्वालाभिरादहेत् । ऊद्र्ध्वाधस्तिर्य्यगाभिस्तु मूद्ध्नि संप्लावयेद्वपुः ।। ३०७.
Remembering the 'raṃ' seed in the lotus of the heart, one should ignite it with flames, flooding the body above, below, and across, up to the crown.
ध्यात्वामृतैर्वहिश्चान्तःसुषुम्नामार्गगामिभिः । एवं शुद्धवपुः प्राणानायम्य मनुन त्रिधा ।। ३०७.
Meditating on the nectar flowing both outside and within, moving along the path of the suṣumṇā, thus, with a purified body, one should restrain the breaths threefold with the mantra.
विन्यसैन्न्यस्तहस्तान्तः शकिं मस्तकवक्त्रयोः । गुह्यं गलो दिक्षु हृदि कुक्षौ देहे च सर्व्वतः ।। ३०७.
One should place, with hands turned inward, the śakti (energy) at the ends of the head and mouth, the secret place, throat, directions, heart, abdomen, and throughout the body.
आवाह्य ब्रह्मरन्ध्रेण हृत्पद्मे सूर्य्यमण्डचलात् । तारेण सम्परात्मानं स्मरेत्तं सर्व्वलक्षणं ।। ३०७.
Having invoked (the deity) through the Brahmarandhra, from the lotus of the heart, from the solar orb, by the syllable 'ta', one should remember the self as endowed with all marks.
त्रैलोक्यमोहनाय विद्महे स्मराय धीमहि तन्नो विष्णुः प्रचोदयात् । आत्मार्चनात् क्रतुद्रव्यं प्रोक्षयेच्छुद्धपात्रकं । कृत्वात्मपूजां विधिना स्थण्डिले तं समर्च्चयेत् ।। ३०७.
"For the bewilderment of the three worlds, we contemplate Smara; may that Viṣṇu inspire us." After worshipping the self, one should sprinkle the sacrificial materials with pure vessels, and having performed self-worship according to the rule, one should then worship him on the altar.
कर्म्मादिकल्पिते पीठे पद्मस्थं गरुड़ोपरि । सर्व्वाङ्गसुन्दरं प्राप्तवयोलावण्ययौवनं ।। ३०७.
On a seat prepared for the rite, one should visualize him seated on a lotus, upon Garuḍa, beautiful in every limb, possessing the fullness of youth, charm, and vigor.
मदाघूर्णिततम्राक्षमुदारं स्मरविह्वलं । दिव्यमाल्याम्बरलेपभूषितं सस्मिताननं ।। ३०७.
With coppery eyes rolling from intoxication, noble, overwhelmed by love, adorned with divine garlands, garments, unguents, and ornaments, with a smiling face.
विष्णुं नानाविधानेकपरिवारपरिच्छदम् । लोकानुग्रहणं सौम्यं सहस्रादित्यतेजसं ।। ३०७.
Viṣṇu, surrounded by various attendants and retinues, gentle for the welfare of the worlds, radiant with the brilliance of a thousand suns.
पञ्चवाणधरं प्राप्तकामैक्षँ द्विचतुर्भुजम् । देवस्त्रीभिर्वृतं देवीमुखासक्तेक्षणं जपेत् ।। ३०७.
Holding five arrows, with a gaze that fulfills desires, having two or four arms, surrounded by divine women, his eyes fixed on the faces of the goddesses—one should recite (his mantra).
चक्रं शङ्खं धनुः खड्गं गदां मुषलमङ्कुशं । पाशञ्च विभ्रतं चार्च्चेदावाहादिविसर्गतः ।। ३०७.
Bearing the discus, conch, bow, sword, mace, pestle, goad, and noose, one should worship (him) with mantras for each weapon, from invocation to dismissal, in order.
श्रियं वामोरुजङ्घास्थां श्लिष्यर्न्ती पाणिना पतिं । साब्जचामरकरां पीनां श्रीवत्सकौस्तुभान्वितां ।। ३०७.
Śrī, standing with her left thigh and leg pressed against her lord, holding a lotus and a fly-whisk, full-bosomed, adorned with the Śrīvatsa and Kaustubha gems.
मालिनं पीतवस्त्रञ्च चक्राद्याढ्यं हरिं यजेत् । ओं सुदर्शन महाचक्रराज दुष्टभयङ्कर छिद छिन्द विदारय परममन्त्रान् ग्रस भक्ष्य भूतानि चाशप हूँ फट् ओं जलचराय स्वाहा । खड्गतीक्ष्ण छिन्द खड्गाय नमः । शारङ्गाय सशराय हूं फट् । भूतग्रामाय विद्महे चतुर्व्विधाय धीमहि तन्नो ब्रह्म प्रचोदयात् । सम्बर्त्तक श्लसन पोथय हूं फट् स्वाहा । पाश बन्ध आकर्षय हूँ फट् । अङ्कुशेन हूँ फट् । क्रमाद्भुजेषु मन्त्रैः स्वैरेभिरस्त्राणि पूजयेत् ।। ३०७.
Wearing a garland and yellow garments, endowed with the discus and other weapons, one should worship Hari: 'Oṃ Sudarśana, great king of wheels, destroyer of evil and fear, cut, cut, rend, rend, consume the supreme mantras, devour the beings to be eaten, protect, hūṃ phaṭ, oṃ to the aquatic one, svāhā. O sharp sword, cut, homage to the sword. To Śārṅga with arrow, hūṃ phaṭ. We contemplate the host of beings, the fourfold, may that Brahman inspire us. O Samvartaka, burn, crush, hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Bind with the noose, draw in, hūṃ phaṭ. With the goad, hūṃ phaṭ.' In order, one should worship the weapons on the arms with their respective mantras.
ओं पक्षिराजाय ह्रूँ फट् । तार्क्ष्यं यजेत् कर्णिकायामङ्गदेवान् यथाविधि । शक्तिरिन्द्रादियन्त्रेषु तार्क्ष्याद्या धृतचामराः ।। ३०७.
Om, to the king of birds, hrum, phat. One should worship Garuda in the pericarp, along with the attendant deities, according to the proper method. Powers such as Shakti, Indra, and others are placed in the yantras, with Garuda and the rest holding fly-whisks.
शक्तयोऽन्ते प्रयोज्यादौ सुरेशाद्याश्च दण्डिना । पीते लक्षअमीसरस्वत्यौ रतिप्रीतजयाः सिताः ।। ३०७.
The powers are to be placed at the end and the beginning, and the chief gods and others, holding staffs. Lakshmi and Sarasvati, yellow in color, along with Rati, Priti, and Jaya, all white, are to be established.
कीर्त्तिकान्त्यौ सिते श्यामे तुष्टिपुष्ट्यौ स्मरोदिते । लोकेशान्तं यजेद्देवं विष्णुमिष्टार्थसिद्धये ।। ३०७.
Krittika and Ananta, both white; Shyama, Tusti, and Pushti, at the rise of Smara. One should worship the deity up to Lokesha for the attainment of desired objects, especially Vishnu.
एतत्पूजादिना सर्व्वान् कामानाप्नोति पूर्व्ववत् ।। ३०७.
By this worship and related rites, one attains all desires as previously described.
तोयैः सम्मोहनी पुष्पैर्नित्यन्तेन च तर्पयेत् । ब्रह्मा सशक्रश्रीदण्डी वीजं त्रैलोक्यमोहनम् ।। ३०७.
With water and enchanting flowers, one should always offer satisfaction. Brahma, along with Indra, Shri, and Dandi, the seed mantra—this charms the three worlds.
जप्त्वा त्रिलक्षं हुत्वा च लक्षँ पिल्वैस्च साज्यकैः । तण्डुलैः फलगन्धाद्यैः१ दूर्वाभिस्त्वायुराप्नुयात् ।। ३०७.
Reciting three hundred thousand times and offering one hundred thousand oblations with leaves and clarified butter, with rice, fruits, and fragrant substances, and with durva grass, one attains long life.
तताभिषेकहोमादिक्रियातुष्टो ह्यभीष्टदः । ओं नमो भगवते वराहाय भूर्भुवः स्वःपतये भूपतित्वं मे देहि हृदयाय स्वाहा । पञ्चाङ्गं नित्यमयुतं जप्त्वायूराज्यमाप्नुयात् ।। ३०७.
When pleased by rites such as anointing and fire offerings, the desired boon is granted. 'Om, obeisance to the blessed Varaha, lord of earth, atmosphere, and heaven, grant me lordship over the earth, to the heart, svaha.' By reciting the five-part mantra ten thousand times daily, one attains long life and sovereignty.
अग्निरुवाच वक्षः सवह्निर्वामाक्षौ दण्डी श्रीः सर्व्वसिद्धिदा । महाश्रिये महासिद्दे महाविद्युत्प्रभे नमः ।। ३०८.
Agni said: The chest is with fire, the left and right eyes with Dandi and Shri, who grant all accomplishments. Salutations to the great Shri, the great Siddhi, and the one radiant like a great lightning flash.
श्रिये देवि विजये नमः । गौरि महाबले बन्ध नमः । हूँ महाकाये पद्महस्ते हूँ फट् श्रियै नमः । श्रियै फट् श्रियै नमः । श्रियै फट् श्रीं नमः । श्रिये श्रीद नमः स्वाहा श्रीफट् ।। अस्याङ्गानि नवोक्तानि तेष्वेकञ्च समाश्रयेत् । त्रिलक्षमेकलक्षं वा जप्त्वाक्षाव्जैस्च भूतिदः ।। ३०८.
Salutations to Shri, O goddess of victory. O Gauri, of great strength, salutations to the bond. Hūm, O great-bodied one, lotus-handed, hūm, phat, salutations to Shri. Salutations to Shri, phat, shrim, salutations to Shri, giver of prosperity, svaha, Shri-phat. These are the nine limbs; one should resort to one among them. By reciting three hundred thousand or one hundred thousand times, with seeds, one grants prosperity.
श्रीगेहे विष्णुगेहे वा श्रियं पूज्य धनं लभेत् । आज्याक्तैस्तण्डुलैर्ल्लक्षं जुहुयात् खादिरानले ।। ३०८.
By worshiping Shri in the house of Shri or Vishnu, one obtains wealth. One should offer one hundred thousand oblations with clarified butter and rice into a khadira fire.
राजा वश्यो भवेद्वृद्धिः श्रीश्च स्यादुत्तरोत्तरं । सर्षपाम्भोभिषेकेण नश्यन्ते शकला ग्रहाः ।। ३०८.
The king becomes obedient, growth and prosperity increase ever more. By anointing with mustard water, the effects of planets are destroyed.
विल्वलक्ष्हुता लक्ष्मीर्वित्तवृद्धिश्च जायते । शक्रवेश्म चतुर्द्वारं हृदये चिन्तयेदथ ।। ३०८.
Hunger and poverty are removed, and wealth and prosperity arise. One should then meditate in the heart on Indra's palace with four gates.
बलाकां वामनां श्यामां श्वेतपङ्कजधारिणीम् । ऊद्र्ध्ववाहुद्वयं ध्यायेत्क्रीडन्तीं द्वारि पूर्ववत् ।। ३०८.
One should meditate at the eastern gate on a white heron-like, dwarf, dark-complexioned goddess holding a white lotus, with both arms raised, playing as before.
हरितां दोर्द्वयेनोद्र्ध्वमुद्वहन्तीं सिताम्बुजम् । ध्यायेद्विभीषिकां नाम श्रीदूतीं द्वारि पश्चिमे ।। ३०८.
At the western gate, one should meditate on the goddess named Vibhishika, green in color, holding a white lotus with both arms raised, the messenger of Shri.
शाङ्करीमुत्तरे द्वारि तन्मध्येऽष्टदलपङ्कजम् । वासुदेवः सङ्कर्षणः प्रद्युम्नस्चानिरुद्धकः ।। ३०८.
At the northern gate, meditate on Shankari. In the center, on the eight-petaled lotus, Vasudeva, Sankarshana, Pradyumna, and Aniruddha.
ध्येयास्ते पद्मपत्रेषु शङ्कचक्रगदाधराः । अञ्जनक्षीरकाश्मीरहेमाभास्ते सुवाससः ।। ३०८.
They should be meditated upon on lotus petals, holding conch, discus, and mace, with the luster of collyrium, milk, saffron, and gold, splendidly attired.
आग्नेयादिषु पत्रेषु गुग्गुलुश्च कुरुण्टकः । दमकः शलिलश्चैति हस्तिना रजतप्रभाः ।। ३०८.११ हेमकुम्भधराश्चैते कर्णिकायां श्रियं स्मरेत् । स्वेतगन्धांशुकामेकरौम्यमालाश्त्रधारिणीं ।। ३०८.
On the petals beginning from the southeast, Guggulu, Kuruntaka, Damaka, and water, shining like silver, along with the elephant, should be placed. These, holding golden pots, one should remember Shri in the pericarp, clad in white garments, adorned with a single pearl garland and holding weapons.
ध्यात्वा सपरिवारान्तामभ्यर्च्य सकलं लभेत् । द्रोणाव्जपुष्पश्रीवृक्षपर्णं मूद्र्ध्नि न धारयेत् ।। ३०८.
Having meditated on her surrounded by her retinue and worshiped her, one attains all. The leaf of the Droṇa tree, the flower, the leaf of the Shri tree—these should not be worn on the head.
