Om. O Lord, by you, the soul of time, whatever has been desired in my rite—what has been done, what has been afflicted, what has been abandoned, what has been concealed, and what has been accomplished—
Let it be afflicted or un-afflicted, done or not done, afflicted or unrefined; by this pavitra, O Śambhu, according to your wish, let it be purified in every respect.

As prescribed for those desiring enjoyment, by those established in the essence of Shiva, one should recite their mantra, ending either with 'svāhā' or 'namah', in order.

Through your inner presence, you are the witness of beings, O Supreme Lord; by action, mind, and speech, I have no other refuge but you. Whatever has been done lacking mantra, lacking ritual, lacking substance, whatever has been done lacking recitation, offering, or worship, has always been done by me for you.
Whatever has been left undone or lacking in words, O Great Lord, complete that; O Supreme Lord, grant purity, sanctity, and destruction of sin.
By you, all the world, both stationary and moving, is purified; whatever vow has been broken by me, O Lord, through negligence or error,
Let all that become unified, woven together by your command; having offered recitation to the Lord and composed a hymn with devotion,
Having bowed, one should accept the discipline as instructed by the guru; whether for four months, three months, three days, or even one day.
Having bowed and sought forgiveness from the Lord, the vow-holder should go to the vicinity of the altar; even in the presence of Shiva established in the fire, thus are the four purifications.

Entering within, having praised Shiva with prostration, one should seek forgiveness; having performed the expiatory offering, and having offered rice pudding,
Gently giving the full oblation, one should release Shiva established in the fire; having performed the offering with the sacred utterances, one should extinguish the fire without harshness.
Then, one should give four oblations to Agni and others; then, one should give the purification and the external offering to the guardians of the directions.

Om hām to Agni, svāhā; Om hām to Soma, svāhā; Om hām to Agni and Soma, svāhā; Om hām to Agni for the completion of the sacrifice, svāhā; having worshipped the guru like Shiva with abundant garments and ornaments, his ritual cycle is complete and fruitful. When the guru is fully satisfied, so says the Supreme Lord; thus, having placed the purification resting on the heart of the guru,
Having fed the twice-born and others with devotion, one should give garments and so forth; by this gift, O Lord of the gods, may Sadashiva be pleased with me.
With devotion, having performed bathing and so forth in the morning, one should gather for Shambhu; having worshipped him with eight flowers and the purifications, one should dismiss him.
Always performing the regular and occasional rites in detail as before, having placed the purifications, and bowed, one should worship Shiva in the fire.
Then, having offered expiation with the weapon, one should perform the full oblation; one desiring enjoyment should then dedicate his actions to Shiva.
By your grace, may this action of mine bring about its intended fruit; desiring liberation, may this act not become a cause of bondage for me, O Lord.
One should unite the fire, established through the channels, with Shiva in the auspicious one; placing the mass of fire in the heart, one should then release the purifier.
Having sipped water and entered within, holding the controlled breath in the kumbhaka, one should unite it with Shiva, and, having offered it with intention, release it with the words, 'Forgive me.'
Having dismissed the guardians of the directions and others, one should take the sanctified thread; and, if Caṇḍeśvara is present, after worshipping him, offer the sanctified thread.
