आस्थाप्य स्थापयेत्तेषु हृदा परिधिविस्तरं। वक्ताणामस्त्रमन्त्रेण ततो नालापन्तुत्तये
Having placed them, he should establish the wide covering with his heart; then, with the weapon mantra for the speakers, at the three ends of the stalks.
समिधः पञ्च होतव्याः प्रान्ते मूले घृतप्लुताः। ब्रह्माणं शङ्करं विष्णुमनन्तञ्च हृदार्च्चयेत्
He should offer five kindling sticks, soaked in ghee, at the ends and roots; with his heart, he should worship Brahmā, Śaṅkara, Viṣṇu, and Ananta.
