In the Kali-Santaraṇa Upaniṣad, it is revealed that the names of Hari—Kṛṣṇa and Rāma—hold a special, transformative power. When these sweet names of the Lord are sung gently and again and again, they carry the joyful grace of the Divine. This great mantra, known as the mahāmantra, works quietly yet profoundly: as it is recited, it cleanses the heart of impurities and awakens pure love within. Thus, the simple, loving repetition of “O Hari, O Kṛṣṇa, O Rāma” becomes a path to inner purification and divine affection.
