Gandhari, embracing Krishna of lotus eyes, thought, 'Panchali is truly the death of my sons.'

Thinking thus, the daughter of Subala, with due consideration, said to Vidura: 'O Kshatta, bring Kunti, the royal lady, with her daughters-in-law and attendants.'

At that time, the relatives honored the Pandavas greatly; the citizens and the leaders of the guilds also paid their respects to the Pandavas.
Then Bhishma, Drona, Kripa, Karna, and Bahlika with his son, by the command of Dhritarashtra, performed the duties of hospitality.

O son of Kunti, by my command, my mighty brother performed difficult deeds always, O lord of men.
Therefore, O son of Kunti, you too should follow my command without delay; for all my sons are wicked and filled with pride.
O Yudhishthira, my sons, always intent on their own interests, proud and evil-minded, will never obey my command.

Protected by Partha as the gods are by the wielder of the thunderbolt, having obtained half the kingdom, enter Khandavaprastha.
If Keshava considers it proper, then let it be done without doubt.
Having accepted these words, all paid homage to the king; after consulting with Vasudeva, the Pandavas took their seats.

Seated upon the ceremonial chariot, fanned by divine fans, and beautified by a white parasol adorned with gold and gems—
Acclaimed by Brahmanas with cries of 'Victory!' and praised likewise by kings, they beheld Yudhishthira, the eldest son of Kunti, the foremost of the Ajamidhas.

This act will surely be repaid—there is no doubt; Bhishma, Drona, Kripa, and Vidura then said, 'Well done, well done.'

This is fitting, O greatly fortunate one, and brings glory to the Kauravas; O king of kings, you should have this done at once, as you have said.
Thus addressed, Krishna of the Vrishni clan hastened to carry out all that was ordered; and as instructed by Dhritarashtra, Keshava had it done.
