कक्षमग्निरिवोत्सृष्टो निर्दहंस्तरसा रिपून्। मध्ये भारतसैन्यानामार्जुनिः प्रत्यदृश्यत
Like a fire released into the undergrowth, burning the foes with speed, Arjuna's son was seen in the midst of the Bharata army.
विचरन्तं दिशः सर्वाः प्रदिशश्चापि भारत। तं तदा नानुपश्यामः सैन्ये च रजसाऽऽवृते
Ranging through all directions and quarters, O Bharata, we could not see him then, as the army was covered in dust.
आददानं गजाश्वानां णां चायुंषि भारत। क्षमेन भूयः पश्यामः सूर्यं मध्यंदिने यथा
Seizing the lives of elephants, horses, and men, O Bharata, we saw him again, as one sees the sun at midday.
अभिमन्युं महाराज प्रतपन्तं द्विषद्गणान्। स वासवसमः सङ्ख्ये वासवस्यात्मजात्मजः
Abhimanyu, O great king, scorching the hosts of enemies, was like Indra himself in battle, the son of Indra's son.
अभिमन्युर्महाराज सैन्यमध्ये व्यरोचत। `यथा पुरा वह्निसुतः सुरसैन्येषु वीर्यवान्
Abhimanyu, O great king, shone in the midst of the army, just as once the son of Fire blazed with valor among the hosts of the gods.
यन्मां पृच्छसि राजेन्द्र सिन्धुराजस्य विक्रमम्। शृणु तत्सर्वमाख्यास्ये यथा पाण्डूनयोधयत्
What you ask me, O king, about the prowess of the Sindhu king—hear all of it as I recount how he fought the Pandavas.
तमूहुर्वाजिनो वश्याः सैन्धवाः साधुवाहिनः। विकुर्वाणा बृहन्तोऽश्वाः श्वसनोपरंहसः

मुक्तावज्रमणिस्वर्णैर्भूषितं तदयस्मयम्। वरूथं विबभौ तस्य ज्योतिर्भिः खमिवावृतम्

स विष्फार्य महच्चापं किरन्निषुगणान्बहून। तत्कण्डं पूरयामास यदार्जुनिरदारयत्

Then your warriors, delighted and shouting 'Bravo! Bravo!', witnessed the Sindhu king's deed, incredible and marvelous.
