हन्यादेकरथेनैव देवगन्धर्वमानुषान् । एकीभूतानपि रणे दिव्यैरस्त्रैः प्रतापवान्
With a single chariot, he could slay Devas, Gandharvas, and humans, even if united in battle, wielding divine weapons with great prowess.
पौरवो राजशार्दूलस्तव राजन्महारथः । मतो मम रथोदारः परवीररथारुजः
Paurava, the tiger among kings, your mighty chariot-warrior, O King, is esteemed by me as a splendid charioteer, destroyer of enemy heroes.

एष नैव रथः पूर्णो न चाप्यतिरथो रणे । वियुक्तः कवचेनैष सहजेन विचेतनः
He is not a full chariot-warrior, nor even a great chariot-warrior in battle; deprived of his natural armor, he is unsteady in mind.
