सर्वर्तुफलभाराञ्यान्सर्वर्तुकुसुमोज्ज्वलाम्। पश्यन्तः पादपांस्चापि फलभारावनामितान्

कादम्बैश्चक्रवाकैश्च कुररैर्जलकुक्कुटैः। कारण्डवैः प्लवैर्हंसैर्बकैर्मद्गुभिरेव च
There were kadamba birds, chakravāka ducks, kurara birds, water cocks, kāraṇḍava ducks, plava birds, swans, cranes, and madgu birds as well.
एतैश्चान्यैश्च कीर्णानि समन्ताज्जलचारिभिः। हृष्टैस्तथा तामरसरसासवमदालसैः
With these and other joyful water birds, the lakes were filled all around, intoxicated by the nectar of red lotuses.
पद्मोदरच्युतरजःकिञ्जल्कारुणरञ्जितैः। मञ्जुस्वरैर्मधुकरैर्विरुतान्कमलाकरान्

तथाऽपश्यन्कुरबकान्वनराजिषु पुष्पितान्। कामवश्यौत्सुक्यकरान्कामस्येव शरोत्करान्
Likewise, you saw the blossoming kurabaka trees in the forest groves, arousing desire, like the flights of Kāma's arrows.
तथैव वनराजीनामुदारान्रचितानिव। विराजमानांस्तेऽपश्यंस्तिलकांस्तिलकानिव
In the same way, you saw the noble trees of the forest groves, as if they were ornaments, shining like tilaka marks.
तथानङ्गशराकारान्सहकारान्मनोरमान्। अपश्यन्भ्रामरान्राजन्मञ्जरीभिर्विराजितान्
You saw the lovely mango trees, shaped like Kāma's arrows, and the bees, O king, adorned with blossoming clusters.
हिरण्यसदृशैः पुष्यैर्दावाग्निसदृशैरपि। लोहितैरञ्जनाभैश्च वैदूर्यसदृशैरपि। अतीव वृक्षा राजन्ते पुष्पिताः शैलसानुषु
With blossoms like gold, like blazing fire, red as collyrium, and like beryl, the flowering trees shone brightly on the mountain slopes.
