Whatever is in the midspace, whatever is in the sky, whatever follows among men—bestow that manliness, Ashvins.
Those inspired ones who have measured your powers, Ashvins—thus be aware of the Kaṇva's call.
This hot libation, O Aśvins, is poured out for you with praise; this sweet Soma, rich in honey, O bestowers of horses, by which you became aware of Vṛtra.
Whatever in the waters, in the forest, or among the healing herbs, you have made full of manifold power—by that, O Aśvins, protect me.
Whatever, O Nāsatyas, you have done to help, or as divine healers, this calf does not attain you by thoughts alone, for you go to those who offer oblations.
Now the sage has recognized the praise for the Aśvins; let him pour out the sweetest Soma, the hot libation, O Atharvan.
Now, O Aśvins, mount the swiftly-turning chariot; these my praises have not fallen away from you, like the sky.
Whatever today, O Nāsatyas, we may express to you with invocations, or with words, O Aśvins, may you be aware of the desire of Kaṇva.
Whether Kakṣīvant, or Vyashva the seer, or Dīrghatamas invoked you, or whether Prithī, the son of Vena, in their dwellings—by these, O Aśvins, may you be mindful.
Come as protectors from harm, as guardians, be preservers of the world, and protect our bodies; come for the sake of offspring and descendants.
Whether you travel with Indra in one chariot, O Aśvins, or dwell together with Vāyu, or are in company with the Ādityas and the Ṛbhus, or stand in the strides of Viṣṇu.
Whatever today, O Aśvins, I may invoke for the gaining of strength; whatever help in battles for Turvaṇa, may that best aid of the Aśvins be ours.
Now come, O Aśvins, these offerings are set for you; these Somas are pressed for Turvaśa, and these you enjoy among the Kaṇvas.
Whatever remedy, O Nāsatyas, is near or far, by that, with awareness, grant protection for joy and a covering for the calf.
I have spoken forth together with the goddess, the divine speech, for the Aśvins; the goddess has spread out thought and bounty among mortals.
Awaken, O Dawn, O Aśvins, awaken, O divine gracious one, greatly; awaken, O you who accompany the sacrifice, for the great glory and exhilaration.
When you, O Dawn, go forth with your light, you shine together with the Sun; then the chariot of the Aśvins, the path, proceeds to the gathering of men.
When the Soma-draughts, like cows, have yielded their milk, or when the hymns have followed, then, O Aśvins, the worshippers go forth.
For glory, for fame, for heroism, for shelter, for skill, for wisdom.
Whenever now, O Aśvins, you sit in the womb of the father with thoughts, or with kindly hymns.
Today we call upon your chariot, O Ashvins, broad and swift, the meeting place of the cow; the one that carries Surya, the radiant, long-lived, most generous, and most bountiful among the gods.
You, Ashvins, divine sons of heaven, possess splendor; you delight in it with your powers. Your forms are joined by the swift horses, which draw your chariot, carrying your treasures.
Who today will offer you, Ashvins, the chosen oblation for help, or for the enjoyment of the pressed Soma with songs? Who will honor you for the ancient truth, with reverence, as you are praised?
With your golden, many-formed chariot, O Nasatyas, come to this sacrifice. Drink the sweet Soma, and grant the treasure to the one who arranges the offering.
Come to us from heaven and earth with your well-fashioned golden chariot. Let not others restrain you, O divine ones, when the ancient center is offered to you.
Now grant us, O wondrous ones, abundant wealth with many heroes in both realms. When your praise is sung, O Ashvins, the men come together, seeking your favor and blessing.
Here, when your thoughts are united, this good favor and prize come to us. May you make the worshipper prosper, O Ashvins; the desired wish is fulfilled by your grace.
Let the herbs, the sky, and the waters be sweet for us; let the atmosphere be sweet for us. May the lord of the field be sweet for us; let us move forward unharmed along this path.
This is your work, Ashvins, the bull of heaven, of the realms of earth and sky. I praise a thousand, and those who strive for the cow; come together and drink, overcoming all hostility.
