Indra, go forth in front; as lord of all strength, O slayer of foes, destroy the enemies.
May your goad be long, with which you grant wealth to the one who offers and presses Soma.
This Soma, purified, O Indra, is placed upon the sacred grass; come, hasten here, drink of it.

This Soma is pressed for your delight, for your praise, for battle; O Ākhaṇḍala, you are invoked.
He whose horned bull, offspring, and Kuṇḍapāyya are yours—upon him you have set your mind.
Indra, we call you, the bull, at the pressing of Soma; drink the sweetness of the Soma juice.

O singer, drink our pressed Soma, you are gladdened by streams of sweetness; O Indra, from you comes this fame.
Unfailing powers attend Indra with glory; having drunk Soma, he has grown mighty.
Come to us from near and from far, O slayer of Vṛtra; accept these our hymns.
Whenever you are invoked between the far and the near, O Indra, come here from there.
You rise, O Sun, renowned, a bull, lord of men; you go to set, O Sūrya.
He who with the strength of his arms shattered ninety and nine cities, and slew the serpent, the slayer of Vṛtra.
May that Indra, gracious friend, rich in horses, cattle, and barley, milk for us as from a broad udder.
Indra, delight in the pressed Soma, knower of resolve, much-praised; drink, be exhilarated, be satisfied.

Thus drink as before, let it gladden you; hear the prayer, grow with the hymns; reveal the Sun, fulfill our wish, strike down the enemies, and lead the cows forward, O Indra.
Come near, for they call you, O Soma-lover; this Soma has been pressed—drink it for exhilaration. Widen your belly, receive it with strength; like a father, hear us as we call upon you.
The vessel is filled for him—Svāhā!—as if pouring a libation into a cup, it has been strained for drinking. The dear ones have gathered together for intoxication; the Somas, moving to the right, encircle Indra.
To him, the wondrous, unconquered, delighting in strength and exhilarating drink, like cows to a calf in their stalls, we sing new praises to Indra with our hymns.

By which, O mighty Indra, you set the great rivers in motion, your strength, O bull, is that; instantly his greatness does not diminish, whom the earths have not surpassed.
Your sweetest songs rise up, O Indra; the unceasing streams of praise for the winner of wealth, like chariots striving for victory.
Like the Kaṇvas, like the Bhṛgus, like the Suns, all shining forth, the eager ones glorify Indra with hymns; the Priyamedhas have sung aloud.
