Let vigor be in my thighs, swiftness in my shanks, and firmness in my feet. May all my limbs be unharmed and whole.
May my body be united with my body; may I obtain full length of life. Sit happily for me, O purifier, fill me abundantly in the heavenly world.
Make me dear among the gods; make me dear among kings. Make me dear to all who see, both Shudra and Arya.
Arise, O Brahmanaspati; awaken the gods with sacrifice. Increase the life, breath, offspring, cattle, fame, and the worshiper.
Agni, I have brought the kindling for the great Jatavedas. May Jatavedas grant me faith and intelligence.
With kindling and fuel, O Jatavedas, we increase you. So may you increase us, with offspring and with wealth.
O Agni, whatever kinds of wood we place upon you, may all of that be auspicious for me; accept it, O youngest one.
These offerings are for you, Agni; kindled, become kindling. Grant us long life and immortality to the teacher.
The tawny, splendid one ascended the sky with his flame; those who would strike at you as you soar to heaven, cast them down with your might, O Jātavedas. The fierce one, blazing, ascended the sky, O Sun.
Those demons, cunning magicians, who move about marked with iron snares—O Jātavedas, with your force I bind them. O thousand-rayed, O Vajra, destroy the rivals and protect us.

With the unbound and the bound, I will open the hole by means of magic; having drawn out the knowledge with both, then we perform the rites.
Live, be alive; may I live the full span of life.
Live on, may I live on; may I live the full span of life.
Live together, may we live together; may I live the full span of life.
Live long, be alive; may I live the full span of life.
Indra, live; Sun, live; gods, live; may I live; may I live the full span of life.
May the Giver of boons, the Mother of the Veda, praised by me, inspire the purified ones among the twice-born; granting me life, breath, offspring, cattle, fame, wealth, and the brilliance of sacred knowledge, may she, having bestowed these, proceed to the world of Brahman.
From that vessel from which we drew forth the Veda, into that very one let us place it back; the sacrifice has been accomplished by the power of sacred knowledge—may the gods not take offense at us for this austerity.
Indra, we call upon you, the Bull, at the pressing of Soma; protect us, O Lord, with the sweetness of the Soma drink.
He in whose dwelling the Maruts, the mighty ones of the vast sky, abide—he is the person most well-guarded.
For one who eats ox-flesh, for one who eats cow-flesh, for the wise who are marked by Soma, let us offer praises to Agni.
Let the Maruts drink the Soma from the cup, in the Suktubh meter, with radiance, according to the season.
