बृहस्पतिं ते विश्वदेववन्तमृच्छन्तु । ये माघायव ऊर्ध्वाया दिशोऽभिदासान्
May Bṛhaspati, accompanied by all the gods, be sought for you by those Māghāyavas who attack from the upward direction.
मित्रः पृथिव्योदक्रामत्तां पुरं प्र णयामि वः । तामा विशत तां प्र विशत सा वः शर्म च वर्म च यच्छतु

ब्रह्म ब्रह्मचारिभिरुदक्रामत्तां पुरं प्र णयामि वः । तामा विशत तां प्र विशत सा वः शर्म च वर्म च यच्छतु

अप न्यधुः पौरुषेयं वधं यमिन्द्राग्नी धाता सविता बृहस्पतिः । सोमो राजा वरुणो अश्विना यमः पूषास्मान् परि पातु मृत्योः
They have removed the man-made destruction—Indra, Agni, Dhata, Savitar, Brihaspati, Soma the king, Varuna, the Ashvins, Yama, and Pushan; may they protect us from death.
यानि चकार भुवनस्य यस्पतिः प्रजापतिर्मातरिश्वा प्रजाभ्यः । प्रदिशो यानि वसते दिशश्च तानि मे वर्माणि बहुलानि सन्तु
Whatever the lord of beings, Prajapati, and Matarishva, the master of the world, have made for the creatures—wherever they dwell in the regions and directions—may those many armors be mine.
यत्ते तनूष्वनह्यन्त देवा द्युराजयो देहिनः । इन्द्रो यच्चक्रे वर्म तदस्मान् पातु विश्वतः
Whatever is within your bodies, O gods, rulers of heaven, O embodied ones; whatever armor Indra made, may that protect us in every way.
वर्म मे द्यावापृथिवी वर्माहर्वर्म सूर्यः । वर्म मे विश्वे देवाः क्रन् मा मा प्रापत्प्रतीचिका
Heaven and earth are my armor, the dawn is my armor, the sun is my armor; all the gods have made my armor—may hostile forces not reach me.
गायत्र्युष्णिगनुष्टुब्बृहती पङ्क्तिस्त्रिष्टुब्जगत्यै
Gayatri, Ushnih, Anushtubh, Brihati, Pankti, Trishtubh, and Jagati.
