Daughter of Prajāpati, born of Indra and Soma, fulfill our desires, accept our offering.
I release you with offering for life, from known and royal disease; if the seizure has seized him with this, may Indra and Agni release him.
Whether his life is rooted in the earth, or whether he has departed, or whether he stands near to death itself, I draw him away from the lap of destruction, untouched, for a hundred autumns.
With the thousand-eyed, hundred-powered, hundred-lived offering, I have drawn him; as Indra leads him through the autumns, beyond all misfortune.
Live a hundred autumns, growing strong; a hundred winters, a hundred springs. May Indra, Agni, Savitṛ, and Bṛhaspati, with the hundred-lived offering, draw you forth.
Enter, O breaths, as oxen enter the stall; let other deaths depart, those which they call the hundred others.
Remain here, O breaths; do not depart from here, both of you. Carry the limbs and body of this one back again to youth.
I place you in old age, I set you down in old age. May auspicious old age lead you; let other deaths depart, those which they call the hundred others.
Old age has bound you, as a cow is bound with a rope. The death that approached you at birth with tight bonds, Bṛhaspati released you from it with the hands of truth.
Here I establish a firm house, standing secure, pouring forth ghee. In this house, O house, may all heroes, noble and unharmed, dwell together with you.
Remain firm here, O house, with horses, with cattle, with pleasant speech, with strength, with ghee, with milk; rise up for great good fortune.
You are established, O house, with broad shelter and pure grain. May the calf come to you, the boy, may the cows return to you in the evening, stirring.
May Savitṛ, Vāyu, Indra, and Bṛhaspati establish this house, knowing. May the Maruts sprinkle it with ghee; may Bhaga, our king, extend our cultivation.
Wife of the mind, shelter, gentle goddess, created by the gods at the beginning, wearing grass, kindly, without malice, grant us wealth with strong sons.
Climb the pillar with truth, O bamboo, shining, drive away enemies. May those who approach not harm you; O house, may we live a hundred autumns, all heroes.
Here the young boy, the calf, comes with the living; here the flowing jar, the vessel of curds, is brought with the pots.
Bring forth, O woman, this full jar, a stream of ghee, gathered with nectar. Mix these vessels with nectar; may fulfilled sacrifice and offering protect this one.
I bring these waters, free from sickness, destroyers of disease. I enter the houses with nectar and with Agni.
When the flowing ones moved together, sounding, unharmed, from that you are called rivers; these are your names, O streams.
When sent by Varuṇa, you rushed swiftly, then Indra attained you, O waters; therefore, waters, you flow onward.
Flowing without desire, you did not stop, for indeed your pleasure is in this. Indra, with his powers, has set boundaries for you goddesses; therefore, your name is 'waters.'
One god alone stood over you, O flowing ones, according to his will. He lifted you up, saying, 'Great is she'; therefore, you are called water.
O auspicious waters, you are like clarified butter; you carry Agni and Soma, you are called waters. Your sharp essence, mingled with honey, let it come to me together with breath and brilliance.
From you I see, and also I hear; your sound reaches me, O speech of the waters. I think you are the distributors of immortality, golden-hued, never sated when it comes to you.
This, O waters, is your heart, O calves, keepers of truth. Here, just so, O Shakvaris, I arrange this for you.
May you be united with the cattle-pen, with good dwelling, with wealth, with prosperity. By the name of the newborn day, with that we unite you.
May Aryaman unite you, may Pushan, may Brihaspati; may Indra, the winner of wealth, prosper the riches that are in me.
Having come together, fearless, in this cattle-pen, O cows, bearing the sweet drink of Soma, come near.

Here, O cows, thrive like the Shari-shaka plant; here indeed be born, and may understanding be among you and me.
May your cattle-pen be auspicious, thrive like the Shari-shaka plant; here indeed be born, with you I unite.
