O Waters, with your radiance, render powerless the radiance of him who hates us, or whom we hate.

O Śerabhaka, O Śerabha, let your goings return, let the weapon of the sorcerer return; consume him in whom you dwell, whom your sender sent forth, consume his own flesh.

O Mroka, O Anumroka, let your goings return, let the weapon of the sorcerer return; consume him in whom you dwell, whom your sender sent forth, consume his own flesh.

O Serpent, O Anusarpa, let your goings return, let the weapon of the sorcerer return; consume him in whom you dwell, whom your sender sent forth, consume his own flesh.

O Upabde, let your goings return, let the weapon of the sorcerer return; consume him in whom you dwell, whom your sender sent forth, consume his own flesh.

O Arjuni, let your goings return, let the weapon of the sorcerer return; consume him in whom you dwell, whom your sender sent forth, consume his own flesh.
Let the returning ones come back to you, O Bharūji; let the hostile weapons, the evil ones, return. Take him whose you are, whom you have struck; take your own flesh, do not take mine.
May the goddess Pṛśniparṇī bring us well-being, free from misfortune and distress. Fierce is the spell of the Kaṇvas; do not consume that powerful one.
This Pṛśniparṇī, the first-born, was produced together with strength. With her, I cut off the head of those with evil names, as one would the head of a bird.
Destroy the one who is hostile, who brings forth blood, and who seeks to cause swelling; destroy the Kaṇva from the womb, O Pṛśniparṇī, and be strong.
Cast her into the mountain, the Kaṇvas who have come near to life; you, goddess Pṛśniparṇī, come burning after them like fire.
Drive them away, push out the Kaṇvas who have come near to life; where the darkness goes, there the flesh-eater has reached.
Let the cattle come here, those who had gone beyond; may the wind, their companion, be pleased. Tvaṣṭṛ knows their forms and marks; may Savitṛ bring them together in this cattle-pen.
May the cattle stream together into this pen; let Bṛhaspati, knowing, lead them in. Let Sinīvālī lead the foremost of them; O Anumati, hold back those who have arrived.
Let the cattle come together, let the horses come together, let the people come together. Whatever abundance of grain there is, with the flowing offering I pour it together.
I pour together the milk of the cows, the strength and essence with the clarified butter. Our heroes, sprinkled thus, are firm; our cows are steadfast under my protection.
I bring the milk of the cows, I bring the essence of the grain. Our heroes, having been brought, are here; the wife is at the head of this household.
The enemy does not win the morsel; you are victorious, enduring, and overpowering. O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
The eagle found you, the boar dug you up for us. O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
Indra made you for the arms, to overcome the Asuras. O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
Indra ate the pāṭā plant, to overcome the Asuras. O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
With you I strike down enemies, as Indra did the Sālāvrikā demons. O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
O Rudra, healer with water, blue-crested, doer of deeds, O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
You, destroy the morsel of him who attacks us, not Indra. Speak to us with your powers; O morsel, make me superior.
May only old age grow for you; let this disease afflict others, for they are death-bringers, a hundred in number. Like a mother with her child in her lap, let a friend protect him from harm, not an enemy.
Let Mitra, Varuna, or the Rishadā gods, who are united, create old age and death for him. Agni, the priest, knowing the rites, distinguishes the origins of all the gods.
You rule over the creatures of earth, those born and those who are creators. Let my breath remain, let not my vital air depart; let friends not slay me, nor foes.
Heaven is your father, earth your mother; let them, united, create old age and death. As one lives in Aditi’s lap, protected by breath and vital air, may he live a hundred winters.
