May the goddess Pṛśniparṇī bring us well-being, free from misfortune and distress. Fierce is the spell of the Kaṇvas; do not consume that powerful one.
This Pṛśniparṇī, the first-born, was produced together with strength. With her, I cut off the head of those with evil names, as one would the head of a bird.
Destroy the one who is hostile, who brings forth blood, and who seeks to cause swelling; destroy the Kaṇva from the womb, O Pṛśniparṇī, and be strong.

Cast her into the mountain, the Kaṇvas who have come near to life; you, goddess Pṛśniparṇī, come burning after them like fire.
Drive them away, push out the Kaṇvas who have come near to life; where the darkness goes, there the flesh-eater has reached.

Let the cattle come together, let the horses come together, let the people come together. Whatever abundance of grain there is, with the flowing offering I pour it together.

The enemy does not win the morsel; you are victorious, enduring, and overpowering. O herb, let the counter-morsel destroy the morsel and remove the juices.
